Tyrone Pool Association held its fourth 8ball ranking tournament for inter county team selection at the weekend past in the newly open Q-Sport Academy Fintona with these events only open to eligible Tyrone players who is interested in representing the Tyrone County at the 2010 All Ireland Inter County 8Ball Team Pool Championships in both mens A & B teams which takes place at the Clanree Hotel Letterkenny Co. Donegal on the first May bank holiday weekend.

This tournament once again produced top class action throughout the day with Cathal Mc Erlean (Dungannon) and Ben Mc Moran (Fintona) contesting the final with Cathal getting over the winners line on a 7-6 victory.

Cathal opened up a 6-2 lead in the final only to see Ben come back playing some great pool to level the match at 6-6 going into the deciding frame which seen Cathal take out a fantastic clearance to seal victory.

Points are rewarded from the -finals.listed below is the scoring points system along with the results from the -finals.

Winner: 50 points
Runner- Up: 30 points
Semi-Finals: 20 points
-Finals: 10 points
